Social Responsibility and Community

Responsibility that begins with construction and extends far beyond it

Social Responsibility and Community

Building Responsibly

At Ken Hator, we believe our responsibility does not end at the boundaries of the construction site.

Our work affects the environment, the community, and the spaces in which we all live. That is why we look at what happens before construction begins, throughout the project, and long after it is completed.

Through partnerships and initiatives in environmental and community fields, we aim to connect renewal, responsible use of resources, and meaningful action.

Giving Materials a Second Chance

Through our collaboration with Just a Second, Ken Hator takes part in advancing a selective dismantling model in urban renewal projects.

Instead of treating everything in a building slated for demolition as waste, the process begins before demolition: by mapping items and materials, carefully dismantling them, and sorting what can be salvaged.

Doors, lighting fixtures, furniture, raw materials, and other elements can move on to reuse, refurbishment, or recycling instead of going directly to landfill.

This turns the clearing stage into another opportunity to create value, reduce waste, and extend the life of materials.

  1. Mapping

Identifying items and materials that can be salvaged before demolition begins.

  2. Selective Dismantling

Controlled dismantling that helps preserve materials and items suitable for continued use.

  3. Sorting and Salvage

Separating items intended for reuse, refurbishment, or recycling.

  4. Back into Use

Transferring materials and items for continued use instead of turning them into waste.

Environment and Community

Connecting Urban Renewal, Environment, and Community

Urban renewal creates an opportunity to build anew, but also to rethink the way we treat what already exists.

Selective dismantling and reuse help reduce the amount of material sent to landfill, extend the life of existing resources, and encourage a circular-economy approach in the construction industry.

Connecting development, environmental responsibility, and social action allows the renewal process to become a broader opportunity for both the environment and the community.

Social Action

Community Involvement

Social responsibility is built through action.

Alongside our professional activity, we believe in connecting with the community and promoting initiatives and partnerships that create an impact beyond the projects themselves.

  • Volunteering

Activities and initiatives that enable our employees and partners to take part in meaningful work for the community.

  • Sponsorships

Supporting initiatives and activities that create social and community value.

  • Community Partnerships

Connections with organizations and initiatives that promote meaningful action in the communities where we operate.
